Skywalker To Speak at Appalachian Trail Kickoff

Bill Walker, author of the Skywalker hiking series, will be one of the guest speakers at the Appalachian Trail Kickoff held at Amicalola Falls, Georgia on March 7-9. Last year saw a record turnout for this marquee event, and all expectations are for further growth. Walker will talk about his recent trek of the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.

Other speakers include David Miller, author of AWOL on the Appalachian Trail and Winton Porter, author of Just Passin’ Thru.

Bill Walker is author of Skywalker–Close Encounters on the Appalachian Trail, Skywalker–Highs and Lows on the Pacific Crest Trail, The Best Way–El Camino de Santiago, and Getting High–The Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.
