Skywalker Runs Free Amazon Kindle Special on Appalachian Trail and Pacific Crest Trail Books

Bill Walker (‘Skywalker’) will hold a special promotion starting in just a couple hours for this entire weekend on his two most popular outdoor adventure narratives, Skywalker–Close Encounters on the Appalachian Trail and Skywalker–Highs and Lows on the Pacific Crest Trail. They will be available for free upload on Amazon Kindle, Saturday and Sunday, June 8 and 9. These books are cutting-edge tales of his thru-hikes of the 2,181 mile Appalachian Trail(AT) and 2,663 mile Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). Walker lost 33 pounds on the AT and 43 pounds on the PCT, and later described the journeys as see-saw battles between his incompetence and fears on the one hand, and rock-solid determination on the other. He has since published two additional narratives, ‘The Best Way–El Camino de Santiago’ and ‘Getting High–The Annapurna Circuit in Nepal’.
