Skywalker–Highs and Lows on the Pacific Crest Trail Second Edition Published
The second edition of Skywalker–Highs and Lows on the Pacific Crest Trail has now been published in both paperback and Kindle format. This narrative of 6’11” Bill Walker’s (Skywalker)thru-hike attempt of the 2,663 mile Pacific Crest Trail, which runs from Mexico to Canada, has been popular in the hiking community since its initial publication two years ago. However, there were some formatting inconsistencies in the first edition. “My sincere apologies to anyone affected by them,” Walker says. “Those problems have now been taken of.”
The second edition also includes some new photographs, including one of ‘CanaDoug’, Skywalker’s intrepid Canadian hiking partner, ‘glissading’ down snowy Forrester’s Pass, while the lanky southerner, Skywalker, looks on helplessly.
Bill Walker is the author of Skywalker–Highs and Lows on the Pacific Crest Trail. He is also the author of Skywalker–Close Encounters on the Appalachian Trail, as well as The Best Way–El Camino de Santiago. Walker, who is just shy of 7-feet tall, is currently working on a whimsical book on the subject of height.
