I checked this book out from my local library and could scarcely put it down. This is the first Appalachian Trail thru-hike account I’ve read and I’m not a hiker myself. I found this story about the underdog who achieved his goal really interesting and entertaining. It makes me want to wimp-out and be a “section hiker” some day just to experience a portion of the AT.

I was very inspired by this awesome book! I recommend it highly! The stories were so funny. It was very realistic, but also positive. I heard this person speak in Sarasota, and he is a very unique individual. Please read this book!!! Sarasota, FL
