Bill Walker, author of the popular Skywalker hiking series on the Appalachian Trail and Pacific Crest Trail, will be having a free Amazon Kindle upload Friday, May 23d of his recently published non-fiction book, Tall Tales–The Great Talisman of Height. Walker, who is just shy of 7-feet tall, tells strange tales of being rejected by the U.S. Army for his height, suffering rejection by horrified members of the opposite sex, and the bizarre encounters he routinely experiences in his globetrotting lifestyle.
He also discusses the infamous Napoleonic complex that afflicts short men, as well as the ostrich complex that dogs tall males and females.
