This suspense novel tells the tale of a near-seven-foot-tall Alabaman who hears of great riches being made in the Chicago commodities pit. He moves to Chicago, gets a job with a leading Wall Street company, where he soon realizes he is in the fight of his life.

Previously, Walker has written popular outdoor narratives such as Skywalker–Close Encounters on the Appalachian Trail and Skywalker–Highs and Lows on the Pacific Crest Trail. This is his first novel and deeply felt.
